Diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) health condition that affects how our body turns food into energy. Most of the food we eat is broken down into sugar (also called glucose) and released into our bloodstream. When our blood sugar goes up, it signals our pancreas to release insulin. This insulin does not allow the glucose to go into bloodstream but when it is not produced sufficiently by the pancreas, this glucose go into our bloodstream which is known blood sugar or diabetes.
This condition or this disease is very harmful for our health and gradually starts damaging our other important organs like – liver, kidney, eyes, teeth and gums, skin etc. So, it is very much essential to get control over it by a balanced diet plan and we should also prepare a diet chart so that sugar patient can lead a healthy life.
