Graciela was born in Peru and raised in Miami. She is currently living in NYC and loves exploring new restaurants, museums, and Broadway shows in the city. She is waiting for the day where everything returns to pre-Covid levels of crazy.
Graciela was diagnosed with T1D at 19 and largely navigated the disease by herself (and her doctors) for the first few years. She met more T1Ds when she moved to New York and realized what a difference having this network made. Although she doesn’t let T1D take over her life, it is something that is always in the background so she loves connecting with others and sharing stories, experiences, and tips & tricks.
