Fruit is generally seen to be highly nutritious, and you should eat fruits every day if you want a healthy and balanced diet. However, certain fruits, such as bananas, have a reputation for being rich in sugar and carbohydrates, which can cause blood sugar spikes, so persons with diabetes may be wary of eating them.
