Diabetes control diet
Early morning-
Take nuts – Almond, Walnut,
Breakfast-
Oats + sesame seeds + flax seeds + Black seeds (kalonji) + curd or milk.
Lunch-
1) Half plate steamed/boiled/ sauteed vegetable.
2) 1/4th dal or curd or paneer/chicken
3) Jowar chapatti or Brown rice or oats.
Snacks-
1) Vegetable soup
2) Salad with curd & Black pepper + Mint sauce. (Pudine ki chutni)
3) Peanut butter
4) Sauteed Paneer
5) Eggs
Dinner-
1)Chicken or Paneer or Eggs.
2) Green vegetables.
3) Salad.
4) Curd or Lassi without sugar.
Use “STEVIA” as a sweetener. Avoid “Sugar free” as it contains “Aspartame ” which is not good for health.
Foods to avoid
1) Packaged foods
2) Bakery products
3) Chips
4) Maida-based products
5) Juices
6) Soft Drink + Alcohol.
